Digital transformation is the process of using digital technology to fundamentally modify business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market needs. To implement new technologies, digital transformation involves rethinking how an organization operates and delivers value to its customers. Digital transformation also focuses on leveraging technology to achieve strategic goals, involving the integration of digital technology into all aspects of the business, resulting in fundamental changes in how organizations operate and interact. Ease of access, time efficiency, and transparency are key demands. The immigration sector, as the frontline in regulating the movement of people and monitoring the presence of foreign nationals, plays a crucial role in supporting economic growth and maintaining national security. Therefore, adapting to advances in information and communication technology (ICT) through the acceleration of e-government is a key step forward. Investment in developing human resource competencies in technology and immigration is crucial to ensuring that M-Passport can continue to operate effectively, safely, and provide maximum benefits to the community. Training, professional development, and recruitment of competent human resources are essential steps in supporting the success of the digital transformation of immigration services through M-Passport. Companies can improve competitiveness, efficiency, customer experience, and open new business opportunities in this digital era. Despite the challenges, the long-term benefits of digital transformation make it a necessity for organizations that want to remain relevant and successful in the future. This study aims to analyze and measure the extent to which the acceleration of e-government implementation through the M-Passport service has been effective in improving immigration services in Banda Aceh City. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a focus on evaluating the implementation of digital systems in public services. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with immigration officers and service users, as well as participant observation of the M-Passport process flow. Data analysis was carried out by presenting data, and drawing conclusions to describe the effectiveness, challenges, and supporting factors of e-government acceleration in immigration services in the region.
